Wellspring Healthcare, Inc., founded in 1999, is a privately-owned, debt-free, closely held corporation focused on improving the health and wellness of individuals while reducing insurance costs for employers. Specifically, Wellspring Healthcare works closely with employees and dependents to reduce the health risk factors that drive rising insurance costs.

Wellspring has the unique ability to reduce medical claims in the first year of implementation. Employees and dependents with behavioral and lifestyle risk factors enter Wellspring’s Wellness Model of healthcare services with the goal of affecting change. Wellspring’s comprehensive model includes all five essential elements of a wellness program - Assessment, Intervention, Education, Access and Incentives – and is designed to actually reduce risk factors and lead to better overall health and wellbeing. The less effective medical model focuses more on treating symptoms.
