Experience:

Thomas Montgomery has worked in the healthcare industry since 1989. Uniquely, his employment and management experiences have included nearly all environments including: small community hospital, large trauma hospital, corporate office of a national hospital system, managed care sales and administration, IPA management, physician group management, and benefits consulting.

Montgomery acquired Wellspring Healthcare, Inc. and founded Functional Testing Services, LLC in 2003 with the goal of creating affordable and effective means to reducing insurance costs for employers while improving the overall health of the employee population. Furthermore, from his prior experiences working with healthcare providers, he was committed to developing a business model that incorporated local healthcare providers resulting in their opportunity to work strategically with employers in their community.

Education:

Montgomery has a Master in Health Administration (MHA) from the prestigious University of Minnesota's School of Public Health and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Business. His undergraduate degree is in business with an emphasis on Health Care Administration.

Involvement:

Montgomery is on the Board of the National Association of Health Underwriters (Dallas Chapter) and actively educates business owners and insurance professionals on managing insurance costs through preventive and wellness programming.
